This painting by Albert Bierstadt is very beautiful and captivating. The image you see here is a poor reproduction of it, but one of the best found on the web. I just saw this painting in person in the Portland, OR art museum, and it's so wonderful and breathtaking. This image does it no justice whatsoever. Try to see it in person, you'll be amazed!
